‘Good to Great’
Foundations of Character, Virtue and Leadership

A pioneering Ethical Leadership Program for Year 9 students.

We want our girls to be active participants and engaged citizens. We know they will graduate from our school to sit in C-suites, board rooms and surgery theatres. That’s where their academic results will get them, but it’s their character that will ensure they can make a positive contribution in those environments. That’s what we’re focusing on at St Catherine’s.”                         – Ms Natalie Charles, Principal

In March 2025, St Catherine’s School launched an Ethical Leadership Program, in partnership with the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership, that creates a space for our Year 9 students to engage with fundamental questions about individual and collective goodness – moving beyond external pressures to connect with deeper truths about themselves and their relationship to society.

This program, consisting of a 2-week immersive residential program at the beautiful pastoral property ‘Narmbool’ near Ballarat, with capstone elements across the year, will connect timeless philosophical wisdom with real-world application.

A pilot program will take place in June this year.
