Triumph on the Water: Outstanding HOSG Results
We’re incredibly proud of our girl’s exceptional results at the premier Victorian Schoolgirl Regatta, the Head of the Schoolgirls.
Our Y10 Double Scull remained calm under pressure in the windy conditions holding off a late charge from the outside lane to take the first Gold Medal of the day!
The Stevo crew made a brilliant charge challenging for the lead and winning a brilliant silver medal in the Open Division 5 Coxed Four.
Our Open Division 2 Coxed Eight, MMXXI crew, showed outstanding improvement throughout the regatta and bravely took the race on early to win the silver medal in a thrilling finish with only 0.39 seconds between 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
The Henley MMXXII Crew showcased their incredible skill and athleticism to control the race from start to finish taking out a dominant clear water win in the blue ribboned Open Division 1 Coxed Eight!
Congratulations to all the participants and coaches! We can’t wait to see our Henley MMXXII and MMXXI crews take on Australia’s best at the Australian Rowing Championships next week!
